Before I began working with Jacob, I had been lifting for most of my adult life. My time in the gym was on and off, however, and my progress seemed to be permanently stalled for years at weights that were well below what they should have been, despite a focus on strength rather than aesthetics. Within a couple of meetings, Jacob was able to assess my form and have me squatting in a way that actually made sense for my physiology — not just a generic, one-size-fits-all approach to technique that leaves many struggling for gains. My bench and deadlift greatly improved, as well. While I’m no longer training with Coach Jacob, the methods he’s used continue to serve me well. My progress is already much better and more consistent than it had been prior to his coaching. I have no doubt that were I still working with him, it would be even
better. In addition to great coaching abilities, Jacob is a pretty cool dude and exactly the kind of trainer you want. Being relatively short, it’s inspiring to see someone of similar stature hitting nearly 600 lbs in some lifts while managing to stay lean. The man can also coach weightlifting and has decent cardio to boot. I’d highly recommend his services.
